Hudson molding powders for encapsulation of sample. Will not distort sample. Mounting powder types include:
Phenolics: Variety of colors, fast, economical, easily used, high shrinkage, low edge retention, low hardness.
Diallyls: Blue to blue-green in color, high hardness, medium shrinkage, good edge retention, chemically resistant.
Epoxies: Black in color, good edge retention, high hardness, chemically resistant.
Acrylics: Transparent, slow cure, require low pressure, medium hardness, not chemically resistant.
